We can also see where things went wrong. In the mid-1990s the Business Process Reeingineering wave disrupted everything we were doing as businesses. But it only marked the beginning because three years later we had the Internet, globalization, the war for talent, outsourcing … you name it. And everything needed its own strategy making it impossible to strategize the entirety.
