(Daily Video #182) Locals casinos in Las Vegas are great! After the allure of the Las Vegas strip wears off, you may want to find better deals, better odds, and less crowds. Thats where locals casinos come in. Almost every locals casino in Las Vegas is located off the strip or out of downtown. However, they are close enough that you can visit the hustle and bustle of the more touristy places without having to stay there. South Point, Silverton, M, Station casinos, Sam’s Town, and the Orleans are some of the best locals casinos.

Most of them are all-in-one experiences. They are easier to get to, they have plenty of parking, they have tons of extra amenities, like bowling, movie theaters, kids areas, and some even have a daycare area. Often the tables are more affordable, they seem to have better odds and usually the staff at these casinos are friendly, giving you the VIP treatment without you having to spend your life savings.

The dining options are also more abundant and often more affordable. Promotions and comps are also easier to get at these casinos.

The Orleans is one of my favorites. It is close to the strip and the 15 freeway, but far enough away to cater more to the locals. I really like their table area, poker room, and sports book.

Overall, if you are looking for a different less stressful Vegas experience, try one of the locals casinos, you’ll be glad you did.
