As I awaited for the librarian to take up my bag to place it in the shelf and hand me over the tag , An idea stroke me like lightning for designing a Bag Placement system for the school library however , I realized that the same material handling and placement idea could be used in a much more demanding area and one that I found suitable was the Parking systems solutions. It makes use of a Radio Frequency Identification Tag and reader that the drivers are able to park their cars in the desired place , pay for it when they are done with their errands and finally and safely leave the parking compartment with their cars. I'm hoping that this system would be implemented here in Kenya on a much larger scale so that we bring a a solution to the problem of Parking space Unavailability.
