I do a run through with Blaze Fielding on the normal difficulty. Since the Japanese version of Streets of Rage 3, doesn't lock the endings behind a high level difficulty wall. Anyway, I haven't actually been playing Streets of Rage all that long, but I've gotten fairly competent at it for the most part, and Blaze Fielding is one of Sega's better iconic female protagonists. At any rate, it seems as though the Syndicate of Mr.X is using material called Rakushin to set up bombs around the countryside that are capable of producing essentially a nuclear blast. An earlier explosion nearly killed 110,000 people.


Top it off, General Petrov is missing and he's a key element to all this as he was what was standing between an all out war with the Lima nations. We manage to take out one of the bombs, and encounter Shiva at a basketball court before we head off to a club and learn apparently Axel was behind the kidnapping of Petrov. Somthin ain't right. And it ain't long until we get to the top of a construction site and find out that a robot duplicate of Axel was behind the kidnapping!


Things take an unusual turn as we end up taking an underground passage through a shrine of sorts. Also I had to pause for a moment which served as actually a good splitting point of my run.
