Naria Inri Magaria (NIM) is a group of bulgarian artists inspired by the strive to create beauty in all of its visual aspects. Their specialties include fire dancing and fire spinning, stilt-walking and various experimental performances and installations. Fire in its many displays is the centre around which revolve their creative quests and focal point of their work. Their passion for the magical realm of fantasies, for the wisdom and the sacred rituals of ancient civilizations shows through in many of their projects. At the same time, NIM prefer to experiment in new directions, to combine different styles and movements, and to interpret a wide variety of themes.
The group was created in 2001 and today has significant experience in stage performance, as well as numerous appearances in clubs, commercial performances and festival participations, both home and abroad. NIM are often invited to perform at various corporate functions, parties and multicultural events;musical, TV and movie productions. Their choreography can easily be adapted for different settings, and integrated into various events, while paying special attention to the occasion, location and audience. In their performances, NIM use instruments such as fire fingers, ropes, poi torchers, staffs, double staffs, fans, fire-crowns, unique masks and costumes, fire installations and sculptures. NIM performers collaborate with a wide range of artists: designers, scenographers, musicians, VJs and other performers from around the world. All those components combine in an original vision, elevating their fire spectacles to theatre art.
