An ancient mummy has been brought back to life thanks to 3D imaging technology that has reveals what his face would look like today.
Scientists used the skull of 2,000-year-old Peruvian mummy, Lord Sipan, to reconstruct the appearance of the historical figure.
Believed to have been aged 45 to 55, Lord Sipan was one of the royal rulers of the mysterious Moche civilisation which flourished in Peru between 50 AD and 700 AD.
The team of Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Odontology unveiled the mummy’s make over on Wednesday 20 September in Lima, Peru.
