Boss have heard your feedback and added another 50-watt model to the Katana range, adding a line-out and foot-controller compatibility on top of the usual Katana-50 MKII features.

The line-out doesn't mute the speaker like the Record output does, meaning a stage sound-person can plug you directly into a PA, and you'll still get volume from the actual amplifier as well. And if you also purchase Boss's optional GA-FC or GA-FC EX footswitch, you'll have access to all 8 Katana channel presets under-foot, as well each individual effect pedal within your presets.
