A nice little Zbrush timelapse for a change of pace! I've been working on this design as a personal project for a while now and I'm still not entirely happy with what I came up with here, but it gave me some ideas on how to tweak things.

In general, I'm wary of corporate acquisitions. I don't like the idea of a handful of corporations like Disney running a gigantic portion of the entertainment industry, but now that the tools we use to create this stuff are being consolidated into a few big software companies, it just makes it more difficult for independent artists to make things. And that's always a bummer.
Queue all the Blender fans jumping in with, "Hey, use Blender! It free!" And I get it. Blender does some amazing things, for sure. But in terms of digital sculpting, nothing really holds a candle to Zbrush which is why I felt this one was worthy of a few thoughts. Jury is still out on what the long terms effects of the Maxon thing will mean for us, but if the history of 3D software can gives us any clues, the future doesn't look so great.
