Mahadya is a traditional Satara special recipe. If you have no sabzi at home then this can be a quick and tasty option. This is a very easy and simple recipe. This can be a good traveing snack as it remains good for about 3-4 days. Do try this recipe and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and comment.
Ingredients:
• 2 tsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• A pinch of Hing
• 1 cup finely chopped Onion
• 1 tsp Kanda lasun masala
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• 1 cup roasted Peanut powder
• Salt to taste
• Water
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
Method:
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
• Add cumin seeds, hing, onion and mix well.
• Fry onion on medium heat until it gets light golden color.
• When onion gets light golden color add kanda lasun
masala, red
chili powder and mix well.
• Fry for just about 2 minutes.
• Add roasted peanut powder and mix well.
• Add salt, a little water and mix well.
• You can add water according to the consistency you want.
• Cook on medium heat for about 2-3 minutes.
• Mahadya is already.
• Garnish with coriander leaves.
• You can have this as chutney or sabzi too.
