As Many Tamil movies get releases in every year, in that some Tamil movies based on real stories. This Credit goes to Tamil film industry. Tamil films based on real-incidents have been on the increase. Adding one more to the list is Vignesh starer Acharya. The movie directed by a debutante, Ravi,a one-time associate of director Bala, is based on a triple murder in Madurai, which was a sensational news a few years ago. Speaking about the movie, Ravi says, 'Vignesh plays an orthodox Brahmin youth, who ends up killing three persons in Madurai.'
'The youth who ended up killing three persons is working along with me now awaiting a judgment from the court is the true story which became popular in tamil film industry.' A newcomer Divya plays the heroine while Nasser is also in the cast. Asked why he was going for not-so familiar names in the industry, Ravi says, 'my movie is technique-driven film rather than actor-driven. More over the story-line would click even without familiar names'. Ilayaraja scores the music while another newcomer Rajavel cranks the camera. The movie would be released early next year. Vignesh, who is yet to establish himself in the industry, is pinning all his hopes in the movie.
