T-80BVM Tank destroys two NATO MaxxPro and Bradley - get Trophy
Russian T-80BVM Tank Destroys Two MaxxPro Armored Personnel Carriers in South Donetsk Operation.
In a significant combat action in the ongoing conflict, tank crews from the Vostok Group of Forces in Russia’s Primorsky region successfully destroyed two U. S. -manufactured MaxxPro armored personnel carriers (APCs) belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The operation took place during the liberation of a key settlement in the South Donetsk direction.
The battle was captured through objective control footage, which shows the Russian T-80BVM tank storming the settlement and engaging Ukrainian forces in fierce combat. The video reveals the tank maneuvering through the area and systematically targeting the enemy’s defensive positions.
According to military sources, the T-80BVM tank was attacked by an enemy First-Person View (FPV) drone during the battle. The FPV drone, which was equipped for kamikaze strikes, posed an immediate threat to the Russian crew. Despite the attack, the skilled tankmen maintained control of the situation, delivering a series of precise, point-blank strikes against the AFU hardware, including the MaxxPro APCs.
The destruction of the MaxxPro APCs is a notable victory, as these vehicles are part of the military aid package sent by the United States to assist Ukrainian forces in their defense against the Russian military offensive. The MaxxPro is known for its high level of protection against mines and IEDs, making its destruction a significant blow to the AFU’s defensive capabilities in the region.
The T-80BVM, an upgraded version of the Soviet-era T-80 tank, played a key role in this successful operation. Equipped with a 125mm smoothbore gun, advanced armor, and modern fire control systems, the T-80BVM proved its effectiveness against both ground targets and airborne threats like the FPV drone. Its superior mobility and firepower were crucial in overcoming the Ukrainian defense lines.
