The 45NRTH Wolvhammer Mountain Bike Shoes are the best you can buy. They're amazingly warm, comfortable, well designed and well built. Not the cheapest shoe you can buy, but it's the best.
BTW - they also are fine for road biking, not just mountain biking and in fact, I think they're even more valuable as early season road bike shoes. They keep your feet dry and warm even in really messy riding conditions.
