At least 10 armed militants have been shot dead in an intense gunfight with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in Manipur’s Jiribam, the district bordering Assam, on Monday, police said.

According to police report, the gunfight broke out at Jakurador Karong in the Borobekra sub-division after the armed militants launched a massive attack from two sides and attacked the CRPF post located at Borobekra police station.
