Which smoker makes better BBQ, inexpensive Kamado's or offset smokers? Kamado grills are known for using charcoal for heat and wood for flavour whereas offsets are famous for that all wood signature taste... BUT, many Oklahoma Joes users suggest you get better results running a small offset smoker with charcoal for heat and wood for flavour, just like we do on my Char-Griller Akorn Kamado.
