How long should you wait after buying a car before filing bankruptcy? As a general rule, you should not make major purchases if you are in the midst of a financial crisis but sometimes, the unexpected happens:
- an unexpected job layoff
- emergency need for reliable transportation
- unexpected expenses arising from vehicle purchase
- buyer’s regret

Watch this brief video to learn how to protect yourself and how long you should wait if possible.
