ingredients
parwal - 350 gm
potato - 2 medium size
Tomato - 2 medium size
Bay leaves - 2
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cardamom - 2
Cinnamon stick - 1
Cloves 2
Ginger paste - 2 tsp
Cumin powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt
Sugar
Oil
Ghee
Methods
Heat a pan add oil, add parwal in a hot oil, add salt and turmeric ,fry it for 2 minutes, then cover it and fry it for 6 to 8 minutes on medium flame, then take it out on a plate..
Add oil again, add all the whole spices in the hot oil, then add potato, fry it for a minute, add chopped tomato and add some salt, stir it for a minute again.
In Ginger paste add cumin powder, turmeric powder,red chilli powder, garam masala powder and some water, make a thick paste
Add the paste in kadhai, stir it in low flame for 3 to 4 minutes . Add some water if needed..
add fried parwal and stir it for some times,
Add water, sugar and salt, stir it and cover it for 4 to 5 minutes,
Turn off the flame add a tsp of ghee..
Aloo potoler dalna is really to serve..
