A pretty common problem in Dota 2 is to accidentally click the minimap when you are trying to run towards the bottom left.
A couple possible solutions are to use minimap misclick protection time, camera grip, hold hero select, and to move the minimap to the right of your screen. I explain each of those options in this video!
