This is a quick clip showing how to access a EN-EL15 7.0V Nikon D500 Battery pack's terminals to bring the battery out of a overdrawn state. A fast blink will normally indicate a too low voltage. The battery manager chip will prohibit any charge. a Booster battery will bring it up to 2 Volts within a minute, and will be enough to be normally charged.
This technique can be used on any similar pack battery layout.
