Colombia has a rich history in the gold industry that dates back to the indigenous people. Today, the country’s capital is home to the Gold Museum which houses the largest collection of Pre-Hispanic goldwork in the entire world. It is also one of the most visited touristic sites in the country.
I visited on a Sunday and the cost was surprisingly free. Typically, entry is $1-$2 USD which is super reasonable.
All of the exhibits are in English snd Spanish. There are multiple floors, including a gift shop and cafe.
