A downpour of heavy rain, which lashed for about 45 minutes, flooded parts of Johannesburg on Friday afternoon, causing severe property damage, and businesses and submerging cars. Some of the stationery cars could be seen being lifted by the water while traffic on the highways was brought to a standstill, luckily no fatalities have been reported.
