From an adventurous childhood in the Italian Alps to her trailblazing role as one of the first women in the Italian air force, European Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti has been exploring most of her life and is ready for more, as a mission specialist on NASA’s SpaceX Crew-4 mission to the International Space Station.
