The third and final movement of Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Flutes, Strings, and Continuo in C Major, RV 533, performed by Flavia Hirte and Katie Bircher 🪈🪈
In this movement, the upper strings play in unison with the soloists—though not during the solo passages, of course!
It’s a delightful Allegro. While Vivaldi doesn’t specify a tempo marking at the beginning, Baroque concertos traditionally follow the pattern of fast – slow – fast movements, so we’ve gone with that too—it certainly sounds good to us!
