It should be noted that you will NOT receive full USB-C speeds when using USB-A to USB-C, as is the case here. The only way you can ever get full USB-C and USB-C PD (Power Delivery) speeds is via a proper USB-C to USB-C cable, which would deliver up to 3 amps (3A).

In my testing with my Google Pixel XL, I was able to achieve a rating of close to 2A with this cable using USB-A to USB-C; I used the application Ampere to gain this information, which isn't completely accurate, but at least it provides a general ballpark of where the speeds are at.
