- 4 eggs
- 100g (1/2 cup) sugar
- 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 200g (1¼ cups) flour
Butter custard:
- 170g (3/4 cup) sugar
- 4 tbsp flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 500g (2 cups) milk
- 200g (¾ cup + 2 tbsp) soft butter
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)
Chocolate ganache:
- 50g (1/2 bar) milk chocolate
- 20g (1+1/2 tbsp) heavy cream
