There was a multitude of in-game ads added with the latest update, Patch Version 1.30 The first new ad that I've noticed features pre-rendered video and a pop-up banner on the main menu for 80% off of Mortal Kombat Ultimate. The second ad features only a pop-up banner for 70% off of Kombat Pack 2.
