Today, the capital’s Mekan Palace hosted festivities on the occasion of the Harvest Festival, widely celebrated throughout the country, embodying national pride for the results of the selfless work of daikhans, generous harvests grown on the fertile Turkmen land. The day before, advanced tenants, machine operators, scientists, agronomists, breeders and other agricultural specialists making a worthy contribution to the development of the domestic agro-industrial complex were honored. In accordance with the Decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the leaders of the agricultural industry who achieved the highest indicators this year were awarded the “Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin” medal, as well as valuable gifts on behalf of the head of state.
