"FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME ABROAD TOGETHER:
Nobody would want to miss this Power Webinar!"
In this webinar we brought together three very special people with their own unique life story for the first time. They have one thing in common: They were in the wrong place at the wrong time in their lives.
Arjan Erkel, Joseph Oubelkas & Ferry Zandvliet know better than anyone else what it is like when your life is suddenly turned upside down and everything is different. Arjan was held hostage in Russia for 607 days and lived for years in fear of being shot by his captors. Joseph was wrongfully detained in a Moroccan prison for 1637 days. Ferry survived the attacks in Bataclan Paris; one of the bloodiest terrorist attacks Europe has ever known.
All three have previously managed to turn the most horrible situation into a life-enriching "something".
How do they deal with the current crisis?
Are they able to apply their own life lessons themselves right now?
The answer to this is a resounding: YES!

About Arjan Erkel
For almost two years Arjan Erkel was kidnapped by masked Islamic rebels in Dagestan, Russia. It was a nightmare he never expected to live through, but once he was in the middle of it he learned how to cope with his new circumstances. His unique story about survival, his quest for freedom and his powerful recovery is still inspiring. For 15 years, through speaking, workshops, and coaching Arjan inspired thousands of people with his message about freedom and taking ownership of your own life.
Next to that Arjan is also a Co-Founder of Free a Girl. A foundation that is dedicated to freeing young girls from forced prostitution. Since 2008 they have freed and given a second chance to more than 4,750 girls globally.
About Joseph Oubelkas
Everyone has a story. The story of Joseph Oubelkas (1980) is one of dealing with setbacks and change. About freedom of choice and determination. At the age of 24, Joseph is wrongly convicted of drug trafficking. He receives a 10-year sentence and, as an innocent man, finds himself in a Moroccan jail.
An independent investigation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reveals that there is no evidence whatsoever. Despite his wrongful incarceration and the harsh prison life, Joseph decides to make the most of it. He rationalises, appreciates the little things, cherishes what he has and converts his sadness, anger and frustration into positive energy. After 1,637 days in prison, he is released: stronger, more positive and more resilient than ever.
Joseph's story is as bizarre as it is inspirational. In the meantime, his life-changing experience has touched, moved, motivated and helped tens of thousands of people in their own lives.
About Ferry Zandvliet
On Friday, 13 November 2015, I attended a concert by the The Eagles of Death Metal at the Bataclan theatre in Paris. That evening 89 people were shot dead and 300 wounded. There were another two attacks in Paris that night. In total 129 people were killed. It was a night that changed my whole life. Chronic insomnia, hyper-alertness, anxiety and serious PTSD problems dominated my life since that night from hell.
I noticed that while my immediate environment became harder and angrier, I personally felt the opposite. The social hardening around me forced me to speak up; I refused to be angry with the perpetrators, nor did I let people scare me. A week later, I again attended a concert, and I formed an intense friendship with the father of one of the terrorists who blew himself up in Le Bataclan.
