The T-51D Mustang's engine is water cooled through the belly scoop just like the real WWII P-51 Mustang. That cooling air exits through a variable air door at the back of the aircraft's belly on SocialFlight's Titan T-51D Homebuilt Fighter! In this episode, we build and fit the door, including an innovative hinge to maintain smooth airflow over the underside of the fuselage.
