The state hits a milestone as we head into the weekend. Six months after the first COVID-19 vaccination was administered, Gov. Phil Murphy says New Jersey hit its target of fully vaccinating 4.7 million people, or 70% of eligible residents, against the coronavirus.
Friday, officials announced 216 new, positive cases and 4 new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 891,071 cases in the state and 26,368 confirmed and probable deaths.
