Figuring out the timeline on this company and its tools is no easy task. I read or heard somewhere that the Powder Power Tool Corp came about around 1947 and had an agreement with the company behind Ramset that allowed them to use the Ramset patents. The Omark name for the chainsaw company came in use in 1953. I don't know when Omark and the Powder Power Tool Corp became one, or if the Omark name was applied to the powder tools immediately, or if the Powder Tool Corp name was continued for a few years before applying the Omark name. I suspect the latter is true. One thing is for sure, the Drive-It brand was used under both company names.
