GIZ is working on behalf of the of the German Government and other commissioning parties for sustainable development and improved living conditions in partner countries worldwide. The Covid-19 pandemic has demonstrated the strength of long-term cooperations with national and regional partners. Especially in the area of health and social protection many of the GIZ projects, with the financial support of the German Government, were able to quickly respond to the partners' needs.
