A high pressure (700 psi - 1000+ psi) mist & fog system is a great way to cool an area up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit!
A high pressure mist system will atomize the water droplets so that they evaporate and cool the surrounding area (of each nozzle). This is the biggest difference between a low pressure (less than ~700 psi) and a high pressure (700+ psi) system. Low pressure systems are not able to cool the surrounding air as well as a high pressure system, because the droplets are much larger and not able to evaporate as quickly.
0:46 Direct sunlight versus shade, low versus high wind, and a dry versus humid environment are three big factors that will affect a high pressure mist system's ability to cool down the environment.
