After our Täschhorn expedition, we thought the Wetterhorn would be an easy one, but it wasn’t. On the first day, we hiked to the Glecksteinhütte and spent the night there. We arrived pretty late, almost in the rain. However, we had a great night's sleep, and after breakfast, we started around 6 o’clock. We climbed over the Willsgrätli, taking around 4 hours to reach the summit of the Wetterhorn. Holy moly... this climb was serious. We didn’t use ropes, and the heavy backpack caused me some problems in certain climbing sections. I would even say the climbing part itself was harder than Täschhorn. But overall, as Mario said: The Willsgrätli is the perfect ridge climb you could imagine.
At the summit, we quickly found the exit, and then it was time for this incredibly beautiful wingsuit flight — this time without getting numb fingers ;)
