McCarrs Creek Reserve is a trial off-lead dog area from Monday to Friday in the signposted area which is west of the main access road into the reserve.

The reserve is a quiet place and offers an ideal location to relax on a lazy Sunday. There are no cafes, so bring food, and drinks and for those wishing to cook lunch wood BBQs are available. Some wood is provided, however if you are planning to use the BBQs, it's a good idea to bring your own BBQ heat beads, newspapers and matches/lighters.

McCarrs Creek is an ideal fishing spot, and is often overlooked by fishermen. There are many types of fish in Pittwater including Bream, Flathead, Whiting, Tailor, Salmon and Kingfish and you can always catch something no matter what time of year.
