In this video, we will compare AWS AppSync with Amazon API Gateway. While these two services cater for different styles of APIs - GraphQL vs. REST - they both offer many similar capabilities such as built-in authentication and caching, and so on. But not all features are supported equally! For example, AppSync's websocket support through AppSync Subscriptions is much more intuitive and easier to use compared to API Gateway.
