Twenty people arrested in connection with alleged illegal mining operations in the North West are expected to appear in the Stilfontein Magistrate's Court in the North West Wednesday morning 12 October 2022. They were arrested on Monday. Police Minister Bheki Cele, who visited the area yesterday 11 October 2022, says this is a breakthrough in efforts to fight crime.
