One most important role of thumbs when grocery shopping is to make sure that you count the ingredients that are in your foods. You will notice that cheaper food has more ingredients in it. So here's a simple roll of thumb to better understand the grocery store. Imagine somebody who has an educational budget verse somebody who does not have an educational budget. Now think of somebody who spends more money on healthy food versus but verses buys whatever's the cheapest.
Now multiply those 2 thoughts by 10 years. Are you trying to be healthy and wealthy or sick and poor? Being healthy and wealthy is simple math being sick and poor is also simple math. They are both choices that you will make on a daily basis over a period of time. When I started learning about healthy food I also learned about fasting. So now instead of eating every single day all day long which makes food cost a lot of money. I started eating every other day this was because I was poor as s***. So you can see there's no real excuse behind not eating healthy other than you just don't want to.
I'll be the 1st person to tell you that eating s***** foods taste great. When you start to eat healthy foods they are going to be so boring and nasty you're honestly not going to want to eat any of them. Your brain is addicted to a dopamine response when you eat something from a fast food restaurant filled with ingredients. And fun fact they actually put people in mri machines to make the most addicting food possible. So not only are you battling a decrease and taste receptors firing Easter scepter's firing you're also battling dopamine which is the hardest fight of your life.
Now let's fast forward over the next couple years where you beat your addiction to foods you beat your battle with dopamine. What do you think your life would be like if you had more energy more clarity less pain pain and quicker thoughts. When someone says quotation you are what you eat quotation. It's more serious than anybody will want to believe. Your belly is your brain. This is why we created the phase called mind your gut keep your mind. I'll tell you that salads tasted absolutely disgusting and I was confused why anyone ate them until I started eating them and actually feeling happier after I eat food rather than lethargic and feeling like I just ate garbage.
So, a message to anybody reading this please eat healthy it will be the best decision you ever decided to make in your life.
