Google ads competitors option is very useful when improving your own google ad auction. People still refer to Google ads as Google AdWords even though they changed the brand to Google ads in July 2018.
It gives me an idea of what keywords to use in my google ads campaigns and also Google ads keywords that are potentially not converting for them and also what seasonal Google ad campaigns they are running.
If you plan on running google ads then this tool is a must. The ads keyword planner does not offer this type of data and most SEO tools don't either.
