We have no shortage of Italian restaurants and pizza joints in New Jersey so it would be virtually impossible to determine who has the very best pizza in the Garden State.

Luckily, Zagat did that for you. They determined the best pizza in the entire state of New Jersey for 2015 and no, it is not in North Jersey, it's down in Maple Shade at Tacconelli's Pizzeria.

The very best pizza, according to Zagat, is Tacconelli's "Signature Pie." It's a thin-crust pizza topped with chopped tomato, spinach, salt, pepper, garlic, mozzarella cheese and olive oil on the crust.
