Join us as we continue conversations around our survey exhibition, 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙒𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙚 𝙐𝙨: 𝘼 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙁𝙞𝙜𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, with the show's network of artists, collectors and collaborators, this time with Durban artist, Sphephelo Mnguni (b.1992).
“I feel like our work is necessary. I feel like a huge part of it is me saying: 𝘐’𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘸𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭, and we’d like to see ourselves in galleries that are quite —I mean deemed as— prestigious. Also, in that light, I hope that we create work that will see the world creating more spaces like Zeitz MOCAA to show our work.”
