This edition of BCA’s Artist Studio Tour displays the work of Hungarian American artist Julia Badics. Currently an artist-in-residence at the Generator Makerspace in Burlington, Badics uses an array of artistic mediums such as painting, embroidery, printmaking, and illustration to investigate personal themes of cultural duality, generational change, and gender role expression. The artist explores the use of color and texture to deepen her understanding of these themes and as a way to share her experience with others.
