The Duchess of Cambridge surprised children at the Shooting Star Children's Hospice in Hampton, Middlesex on Friday. The 31-year-old royal met with sick children, their families and hospital workers during her visit. Kate also participated in a music session, met volunteers and toured the facilities. The hospice is run by Shooting Star Chase, a charity which cares for 650 children and young people with life-limiting conditions at its centres in Hampton and Guildford. Report by Andrea Lilly.
