Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said Moscow would view Ukraine’s membership to NATO as a direct military threat. He added that the US and EU was using Kyiv’s prospective bid to join the Atlantic alliance as a way to fuel confrontation between Russia and Ukraine.
