Hyderabadi Achari Chicken is a Spicy and Sour recipe made using Chicken mixed with various aromatic spices and a touch of tangy Lemon then tempered with oil.
METHOD
1.Boneless Chicken - 1/2 kilo cut into small cubes like pieces
2.We need to make a dry pickle powder for this recipe
The ingredients are
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Coriander seeds - 1 teaspoon
Kalonji \ Black caraway - 1/4 teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
Dried red chilies - 3
Fennel seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Dry roast them and grind into a fine paste
3.Now for marinating the chicken we need to add these ingredients
Ground pickle powder
Yogurt - 100 gram
Turmeric powder - 1/2teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Mix them and marinate for an hour
4.In a pan add ground paste of one onion Saute till it changes colour
5.Now add ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon and saute till raw smell disappears
6.Next add ground paste of 1 medium sized tomato and saute well
7.Add kashmiri red chili powder - 2 teaspoon saute for few seconds
8.Add the marinated chicken and cook well then add little water and cook till chicken gets tender
9.Add few coriander leaves then
Crushed garlic cloves - 10
Lemon juice - 2 tablespoon and simmer for 5 minutes
10.Now we need to make a tempering
For tempering we need
Heat oil in a pan - 3 tablespoon
Add Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Few curry leaves
Dried red chilies - 2
Saute it for few seconds then add it to the cooked chicken
11. Hyderabadi Achari chicken is ready to serve
