This is the 2nd Wonderland journal I've made this year to list in my Etsy shop. I'll admit it's my favorite. It takes until 3:00 to get to the journal part of this video (I decided to show it spontaneously after showing a couple other small items.) The video starts with me showing how to use the flip up notepad project as a happy mail container (and a sneak peek at the free gift I put in each decorated keepsake box). The journal measures 8.5x5.5" and has a 1.75" spine with ribbon closure. There are at least 24 pages in each of the two signatures (I've not counted all the short pages). Product packaging, junk envelopes, etc have been used.
At 3:00 the flip through of the Alice in Wonderland journal starts (for those looking for the Etsy journal) The video starts with me showing how to repurpose a tutorial project to give gifts (and sneek peek at a free gift I’m including with the journal!). I use the journals I make myself and find there's sufficient room for writing. They make a great gift, are nice for the coffee table, or could be a reference item for a fellow crafter or aspiring junk journal maker! Some people use them for passwords or as an address book or even sign-in registry for a wedding or special event. I use them to keep track of my daily to-do's. I seem to have many to-do items that are not calendar specific and use my journal in combination with my calendar for tracking.
It will ship in a custom decorated keepsake box with a few very small thank you gifts (to help encourage feedback admittedly). I like that every page has been worked and that there are no blank pages. Countless hours have gone into each project that come with free priority shipping (I estimate to be approximately $25 value)! I you buy it for a gift, make sure that it comes to an address they wont see the box, because it will give it away!
