This video allows students to carry out an experiment on lamps in series and parallel circuits from home. This is a required practical for students to be able to understand and carry out for GCSE Physics.
Two lamps are connected separately, in series and in parallel to a 3V battery. The values of current and potential difference can be taken by pausing the video. Then the relationship between the total resistance of the circuit and how the lamps are connected can be investigated.
