Step 1: Draw a rough sketch.
From the rough sketch, as shown in Fig., it is clear that the required quadrilateral is made up of two triangles ROS and ROE, with side RO common:
Step 2: Draw a line segment RO = 7 cm
Step 3: With O as centre and radius 3.5 cm, draw an arc.
Step 4: With R as centre and radius 7.5 cm, draw another arc to intersect the previous arc at S. Join RS and OS.
Step 5: With R as centre and radius equal to 6 cm, draw an arc.
Step 6: With O as centre and radius equal to 7.8 cm, draw another arc to intersect the previously drawn arc at E. Join OE, RE and ES.
Thus, ROSE is the required quadrilateral.
