My first drone video of the River Dart was taken on a rather dull afternoon a few weeks ago. Yesterday, Friday, the weather was very bright but cold with a biting wind. The Controller App was telling my the batteries were too cold to fly but I decided to "go for it" - there might not be another opportunity for a while.

I was particularly cra**ing myself.....sorry "worried" when I was way outside of the estuary, over the sea in a strong wind.....would the damn thing come back.....but it did. Then some guy was moaning because I was flying over his field but I was more than 50m away from him and his house, 100m high and "not interfering with his normal enjoyment of his property" or in this case, muddy field !

The video gives a good illustration of Dartmouth - the beautiful estuary with the castles - the Kingswear Castle on the right you can stay in!! The stunning Jawbones Hill where people sit and watch the Red Arrows air display team performing BELOW them !
