The lab of Dr. Nico Lachmann aims to develop new cell-based treatment approaches using blood cells which are derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). The lab has developed unique technologies which would allow for the generation of different blood cells in a continuous process. Generated cells can be used for drug screening, disease modelling or regenerative treatment approaches.
