After coming across this beautiful sunrise at south beach Miami we reached Key Biscayne, an Island town just 20 mins away from downtown Miami.
Key Biscayne is a Florida town on a barrier island across the Rickenbacker Causeway from Miami.
It lies between Crandon Park & Bill baggs cape Florida state park.
We happened to walk around the coastline for about an hour before we got to Cape Florida light.
It is lighthouse on Cape Florida at the south end of Key Biscayne
It was constructed in 1825. it's 95 feet high . we walked up to the top of the lighthouse and the south end coastal view was all worth the pain.
From sunny beaches to the Ritz-Carlton resort, Key Biscayne offers all the attractions of South Florida on a tiny sliver of land.
Its a must stop for those who are attracted to wildlife as we got to see various birds and hundreds of iguanas sunbathing right beside the pathway rocks.
It's a place with long, sheltered beaches, mangroves and tropical forest inhabited by bird life, butterflies and loggerhead turtles.
